Hey everyone, I've been MIA for a while haven't I? :/ Sorry 'bout that! I've been insanely caught up with family matters. All my relatives are over for the holidays and I barely have any time for anything.
This tutorial though I had to get up as soon as I could, considering Christmas and New Years is just around the corner! I had initially made a video tutorial but a lot of the video got corrupted. >.<
So, after sobbing into my pillow for 20 minutes, i decided to make my usual photo tutorial instead! I hope it's easy to follow and that you guys like it! ^_^
What I used:
BH Cosmetic Concealer palette
Faces Transforming Eye gel as primer
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Edgy Emerald
Black eye pencil (Colossal Kajal)
L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Flashback Silver
Coastal Scents 88 palette for silver, brown and black shadow, any other brand is also fine. :)
Bourjois Clubbing liquid black liner
Max Factor 24 Hour False Lash Effect Mascara
Step 1:
Prime your lids and apply concealer to your under eyes. I also apply a lighter concealer over my brow bone for a highlight.
Step 2:
Next apply a natural crease colour before starting with the main shadows, this will give a smooth transition of colours.
Step 3:
Apply the Edgy Emerald Color Tattoo on the inner two thirds of the eyelid. You can use any green or turquoise shadow for this.
Step 4:
On the outer one third, upto the crease, fill in the black eye pencil as shown below and smudge it slightly.
Step 5:
Use black shadow to set the black pencil and draw up the black on the outer V.
Step 6:
With the black pencil again draw a line under the lower lash line like shown below. Smudge it up into the V.
Step 7:
Work the Flashback Silver or any silver shadow into the inner corner of the eye, going down into the lower lid as well as blending into the green on the upper lid.
Step 8:
Apply black liner pencil into the water line, a slightly winged liner and apply mascara!
You are done! ^_^
I hope this tutorial is useful for you guys! I'll try and do another New Years tutorial soon!
I would like to know though, if you prefer these picture tutorials or would you prefer I make a video like I had initially planned for this one?
Thanks for reading!
