Creative Makeup Challenge Day 7: Villain Makeup (Two Face)

I've been wanting to do this look for soooo long! I haven't updated this challenge in a really long time, every time I wanted to, life kept getting in the way. Today I finally got some time and decided to do the Villain makeup. I wanted to play around with something new and this is my first attempt at doing something so gruesome!

Lol! Yes, it is pretty gruesome, I did the Batman villain, Harvey Dent "Two Face's" makeup. I couldn't do it exactly like Dark Knight so I decided to go with a mix of the comics and the movie. I couldn't get the sneer right though. I wanted to do the crazy hair too but didn't get the time. :(

I used tissue paper, PVC glue, surgical tape (for the smile, which was fail -.-) and various eye pencils, eyeshadows and my concealer palette for the effects.Basically I paper mache-d my face! What do you think?

Creative Makeup Challenge Day 6: Gemstone Makeup

My birthstone happens to be opal, but opal would be a real bitch to recreate, plus I'm not really feeling very creative today. :(  So I decided to do a wearable look based on my second favourite gem, and my sister's birthstone, amethyst.

I tried to mimic the colours from the image above, that's why there's a bit of brown and gold-green in the look. My camera was being awful and refused to pick up the colour! >.< But I hope you can still see some purply-ness!

I thought my green lenses would look pretty with purple! They did! :D

My lenses make me look unreal! LOL! Sorry about the weird cropping, I'm in that 2 day no wash phase after you freshly colour your hair, so it looks horrible and greasy right now. X( I'm trying out a new foundation and it looked really patchy! >.<

Anyway, I really liked this look! I might actually use it often. :) What do you think?

Creative Makeup Challenge Day 5: Emo/ Goth Makeup

Well, kitty's still here, going to be here till Monday probably! But she needs a lot of attention so I hope you understand the delay in my makeup challenge and general blogging. :(
I'll tell you more about kitty later and show y'all some pics too but first, it's makeup challenge time!

Today's theme was Goth/ Emo makeup, since I had a cat going around my feet trying to trip me, I kept it simple. Everyday Goth? Scene maybe? Tell me what you think! I feel like it's very similar to Day 2.. :(  Promise to do better next time! x.x

Anyway, I'm sure you'll forgive me if you see pics of kitty! So here are a few I took yesterday. :) Enjoy! And I promise I'll reply to all your comments in a bit!

Creative Makeup Challenge Day 4: Geisha Look *fail*

Ok, I know it says Geisha but I got carried away! I wanted to do something different and I skipped over to something not geisha! LOL! So now it isn't geisha anymore.. It's Kabuki!

LOL! Yes, instead of turning my makeup into something delicate and feminine, I managed to make it something fierce and scary! SORRY! >__<

So, here's my look, I didn't want to paint my face white so I stuck with focus on the eyes. :) used the usual geisha/ kabuki colours, white, black, red and a bit of yellow.

 I didn't want to put up the full face because it looks effing scary! But I have to because makeup challenge! ;n; The contouring makes me look like a drag queen! Here it is *gulp*:

Creative Makeup Challenge Day 3: Tim Burton "Good" Character Makeup Look

Ooooh! I'm so excited for today's challenge! Excited and NERVOUS!
For good characters I could think of choosing between only two characters, Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Emily, the Corpse Bride from well, The Corpse Bride! :D

I ended up choosing Emily because both of us have blue hair! LOL!

Now, I know this is not perfect but I've never tried anything so drastic before, so I really hope you guys like it! ^u^

Bahaha! The veil makes me look more like The Corpse Nun! I didn't have any nice material on such short notice of course. :) My eyebrows were being a pain to conceal! LOL!  I used the lightest concealer from my BH Cosmetics Camouflage palette for the base because I didn't have white foundation. :( I also wih I had done upper lashes but for some reason the lash glue was really making my skin and eyes sting! Must have developed an allergy.. :/

I think I used up almost 50% of my blue shadows from the 88 palette! LOL! But it was so much fun, I don't mind. :) I forgot to do my neck and ended up photoshopping the colour so that it would look the same! LOL! Sorry about that! -__-'

PLEASE tell me what you thought of this look because this really is a first for me, a transformation look, you know?
Anyway, next look will be coming on Monday, I know you guys must be getting bored of just the makeup challenge to read about so I'll get some reviews ready over the weekend. :)

Creative Makeup Challenge Day 2: Tim Burton "Evil" Character Look

Ah, I had a long day today! Most of it was spent outdoors, that's why this post is pretty late. >.>

Btw today I found out that you can't send liquids through post or courier! JOY! X( How do people in this country send nail polish?? Urgh! Somebody help!

Anyway, today's look is supposed to be a Tim Burton "EVIL" character, so I thought I would do Angelique Bouchard from Dark Shadows. Anyone seen that movie? Not great but good. :)

I wish I had a blonde wig for this look! LOL! But the eye makeup was fun. :D

Have I mentioned I hate flash photography? >.< My skin looks horrible with it! Photoshop to the rescue!

Creative Makeup Challenge Day 1: Lace Makeup Look

I've been wanting to do this challenge for sooo long now! I had found it on another blog a long time ago and now finally have the time to go ahead with it!
This is a 30 day challenge and I'll be updating everyday except weekends. I'm so excited!!

Today is Day 1: Lace Makeup Look

 I used Maybelline Eye Studio liquid eye liner to draw the lace. I wish I had the pen liners you get, it would have looked much neater than this. :( But it was fun to do! ^u^ I used Faces lipstick in "French Rose" as well on my lips of course!

Tried bronzer for the first time ever.. Meh..

 I didn't want to do symmetrical designs because drawing on my own face was asking for fail anyway! LOL!

Nail Art Challenge Final day: Copy Cat

I'm feeling really sad that the nail art challenge is ending today. :( I hope everyone had fun seeing what Puja, the other girls and I came up with for the challenge. You can check out their entries on Puja's blog.

Today's theme is Copycat, we had to copy an already present nail art. When I was doing the Kpop makeup tutorial on Ren, I saw one of the teasers for the song and I really liked his nails, so I looked them up and did that. :D

I'm sorry about the image quality. :( I don't have my usual camera and I'm having a hard time using this one. -__-

I used Maybelline Colorama "black", StreetWear "Silver Sparkles", China Glaze "Liquid Crystal" (for the stars), back crackle for the pinky and a black nail art pen. :)
Hope you like it! I'm going to miss making these for the challenge! Will have to think of my own design ideas now and I've become lazy! Heheh..

Nail Art Challenge Day 3: Yummy Sweet Things!

Omnomnom! After thinking about what to do, I'm hungry. -__- Here's my entry for Day 3 of Puja's challenge! I id cupcakes, stripes (they remind me of candy) and the multi glitter looks like glittery sprinkles. LOL!

I tried something with a bunch of erasers. :3

Nail Art Challenge Day 2

Argh! I'm so late!! Sorry Puja. :( This has to be one of my most hurried nail arts yet but I was out all day and got time to start at 11pm. So I had to hurry. ;A;

Puja at Cute Nails is having a great nail art challenge, you can go to her blog and see the other participants as well.. I still have to do that myself! Anyway, I decided my theme would be owls since the category was animals and since I started so late in the night, it seems appropriate. :P

I know it got messy, I feel so bad, I'm going to redo this some day and do it justice. Now I gotta sleep! G'night guys!
